Cleaning Your Hannahpads

Please wash your pads before using them for the first time in your washing machine. Preferably use biodegradable washing powder. 

AVOID the following:
*Harsh bleaches like Jic etc.
* Vinegar
* Tumble Dryer
* Iron

We recommend the wet pail method in cleaning your pads in an easy and effortless way.

      Wet Pail Method:

• Rinse pads under cold water under water runs clear. (If in a hurry, put the pad as is in a bucket of cold water). Rub stubborn stains with our Boerseep, or a biodegradable laundry bar of soap.
• Store your pads in a bucket with a lid. Add a scoop of Bio Bleach to the water and dissolve.
• Replace the water every day, should you not be washing them. We have found that taking the used pads of the day, and trampling them in the shower at night, while we clean ourselves, works so easy. Then pop them in your laundry basket till you wash again.

Please do not leave moist pads in your laundry basket for more than a day to prevent mold growing. Rather leave them in a bucket with water.
